Apollo Maximus, Free 3D Human Figure:Read-me File.

Free Poser / Daz Studio Downloads

Apollo Maximus, the optimal 3D Poser figure and Daz Studio figure.

Apollo Maximus, Poser/Daz Studio 3D human figure, is a human polymesh 3D model that has been designed, and rigged, to take the fullest advantage of the 3D figure rendering software packages, Poser 4, Poser 5, Poser 6, Poser 7 and Daz Studio. Apollo Maximus is a very different Poser figure design from the traditional Daz Productions/Curious Labs legacy/methodology of doing figures. I went in a new direction. Please try to keep this in mind. Some things may seem very alien at first, which is expected. Give yourself some time to get accustomed to him. Apollo Maximus poses/scales extremely well, far surpassing other figures. Keep this read-me file open while getting to know him for the first time. Everything you need is included. No rehashed content or derivatives. All the 3D/2D Poser/Daz Studio Content is expanded.

Remember this free 3D human Poser figure is man, boy, hero, and many other figures in one. And that legacy will pass down to clothes. No Spam. No tricks. Just a great figure that’s a lot of fun. Enjoy him please!!!!!!!!!

Features:

Some exciting figure body parts in Apollo Maximus:

These two channels were created to allow users the ability

to save scaled/morphed character poses.

UV Coordinates/Mapping:

Apollo Maximus features the highest level of efficient distortion free UV mapping.

Bodyhandles:

There are invisible figure body parts you can pose to get different posing effects. Use the figure body part pull-down menu to select them.

Hands:

The hands are different in the way they are designed. Other figure hand poses are not cmpatible.

Genitals:

Penis is an attached body group. There are Poses in the Utility folder to turn Penis invisible/locked. No alternate hip was added for design reasons.

Line of Sight Tool (Advanced Eye Control):

This is a body part that sits between the eyes. It looks like cross hairs and will not render. Use the translate dials to move the tool.

As you translate the Line of Site tool, you will see the eyes follow!!!!

Exciting notes on Morphs:

Morphs are fully reversible. Not just semi-usable shapes but fully functional/complete styles. Instead of spawning morphs from settings,

which only create the illusion of more morphs, only the base morphs are provided. What you create is left in your hands. No Spam Full body

morphs, so it is easier for clothing to support the morphs. And reversible morphs mean really more versatility but with fewer dials.

Example: You can turn Muscles to 1 and Weight to -1 and vice versa, etc,

to save poses/characters without TargetGeom data. It also

allows for savable Body settings without any other morphs saved.

You can copy/paste between Body Channel and ADS_Body Dials Channel

Phonemes:

Morphs are fully reversible. Not just semi-usable shapes but fully functional/complete styles.

The first column represents the phoneme dials on Apollo.

Each Color represents a different dial.

All the phonemes listed within that color can be achieved with that one dial.

The second column represents an example of each phoneme in use.

Each word illustrates the sound of the phoneme perceived by the human ear.

The third column is a phonetic breakdown of that word.

This is an example of how you would sequence dials to form words.

Things to note:

Character Creation, Poses and the Animation Timeline:

Loading different settings on either end of the timeline can make ADS_Body and ADS_Scale characters.

3D/2D Poser/Daz Studio Content Files:

Note where your files can be found

Poses Standard Partial:

There are partial poses for arms and legs. To avoid possible weird/unnatural combinations, zero the neighbor of the last part changed.

Poses Standard Full:

The full standard poses are bases that can be used to create more customized poses.

Saving Poses:

You don’t want your poses to erase/overwrite ADS Characters.

Poser 4 Materials:

Located through the Pose Library. An example of this are file MATs inside the "Apollo_ClothingP4" folder.

Poser 6 Materials:

Located through the Material Room.

Texture Expansions: Faces:

Instructions:

This pack is used with Apollo’s default MAT (material) in your Apollo Maximus MAT (material) folder.

Conforming Figures:

If you are using Poser4 or Pro Pack, sometimes you may encounter a pose setting that may cause a body part, on the conformer, to buckle.

This is something you may or may not have already seen. This is an old cross talk. Moving the dial just another degree will make it go away.

This is a known Poser 4/ Pro Pack issue that appears in some conformed figure rotations, in Poser4 and Pro Pack.

Using Cr2’s for Your Clothing Figures:

These figures are great for displacement, bump, and near skin effects.

Use the “Seed” cr2 included for your own clothing items. Seed cr2 is located in the Clothing Resource folder inside the ReadMe folder.

Do not redistribute any Cr2 containing other people’s morphs. You assume all responsibility for ensuring 3rd party morphs are removed.

You can move morphs using a free utility called Morph Manager or you can use PMD.

Note: These cr2’s can be used for free or commercial Apollo Maximus, Poser/Daz Studio 3D human figure, clothing only. Not to be used for any other figure under any circumstances.

When using these cr2’s for clothing you may need to make adjustments for your clothing.

Scalp Beard Figure:

This is a conforming figure with MAT (material) in your Apollo Maximus MAT (material) folder.

SkinSuit & SkinSuit Basics Figures:

These figures are great for displacement, bump, and near skin effects.

Note: These .cr2 files can be used for free or commercial Apollo Maximus, Poser/Daz Studio 3D human figure, clothing only. Not to be used for any other figure under any circumstances.

When using these cr2’s for clothing you may need to make adjustments for your clothing.

Apollo’s FX Appliances:

    FX Appliances: Bonelord01:

    FX Appliances: Daemonicus01:

These are conforming figures with MAT (material) in your Apollo Maximus MAT (material) folder. It accepts any Apollo texture MAT (material).

& the appliance, be sure mask’s head rotations are zeroed after pasting the dial settings.

Apollo’s Epic Clothing Library

Volume 01

Volume 02

Tunic01 (Trimmed ¾ Tunic) - fits with all items or can be used alone.

Volume 03

TankTop01 (Can also be Armour or bullet-proof vest) - fits with all items. Can also be used with Vol02.

Note: When using with SkinSuit Basics, reduce the “SkinSuit” Body morph to .075 for a close fit.

Note on conforming Pants.
            --------------------------
When the pants conform, the genital1 geoup on the pants may over conform
causing the crotch to sink in by about 20.

If this happens, simple select genital1 on the pant and rotate it out by 15-20
or until the seams is flush.

This behavious is currently considered an unknown anomoly possible related
to attached genitals. I will look into it.

Apollo Shoes and Footwear:

Apollo’s conforming footwear has slightly different functionality than other figures. Here are guidelines to remember. Though it may be confusing at first, all is good. I promise.

CollarWrap 01 (Cloak):

Apollo’s conforming Cloak does indeed conform to Apollo. It is new type of cloak design unique to Anton Kisiel designs.

Note: “ON” Fabric Morphs:

Clothing is “on” by default. The morph that turns items on is under “Body”. The value of this dial  my be lowered or increased.

BootPants01 and Boots01 have 4 additional “On” styles to choose from. Simple set these to a total of one instead of default.

Look for “Fit” morph dial names to assist in fitting various items together or with characters.

ADS ( Alternate Dial Save):

The purpose of ADS is to allow you the ability to save characters.

In addition, it allows an easy way to distribute scaled/morphed characters without utilities or poses that overwrite other people’s work.

You can stack an ADS pose on top of changes made elsewhere

ADS_Scale Dials:

These dials are slaved control dials that can be saved into the pose library. These poses can be applied to clothes as well.

To save poses into the library select subsets and only check the ADS_ScaleDials body part. YOU MUST also include morph channels for those parts.

ADS_Body Dials:

These are duplicate Body dials that can be saved into the library as normal poses byt checking morph targets.

To save poses into the library select subsets and only check the ADS_Body Dials body part.

ADS_Body / ADS_Scale Poses:

These poses turn the ADS_Body dials.

Saving ADS Character Poses in Poser 4, Pro Pack, Poser 5, 6, and Poser 7:

If you dial up a fun character and head and want to save it, this is how. If you dialed the characters in The ADS_Body Dials channel and not in the standard BODY channel, ignore steps 1-3.

  1. select the BODY Channel, then COPY
  2. Select ADS_Body Dials then PASTE
  3. select BODY and click RESTORE ELEMENT
  4. Go into the Poses Library and click to save a pose.
  5. Enter a new name
  6. Click SUBSETS on the save dialog box.
  7. Select only ADS_BODY DIALS  and ADS_SCALE DIALS ONLY
  8. SAVE AND INCLUDE MORPH TARGETS WHEN ASKED
  9. Save a separate face file for the head.

Saving ADS Character Poses in Daz Studio:

If you dial up a fun character and head and want to save it, this is how.

  1. Get this free script from Daz Productions: Poser Format Exporter
  2. Create your ADS character in Daz Studio using ADS_ScaleDials and/or ADS_BodyDials
  3. In the Scene Panel select the conbination you want to save ADS_ScaleDials and/or ADS_BodyDials, or just scale or just body, remember that in Daz Studio you can select multiple body parts using the CTRL key (you can even select the head if you want to save a full character with head morphs as well, but it is recommended to save faces seperately)
  4. Run the Poser Format Exporter script.
  5. In Path select the directory where you want to save your ADSs remember it will be a .pz2 Poser pose file usable in poser too, the it shoul be placed somewhere under Pose pose directory in your runtime.
